What is Nestpitch?

Nestpitch is an online marketplace for traders from all over the African continent and the diaspora, who trade in uniquely branded African products and services. Using the pitch feature entrepreneurs enhance the appreciation of the story behind ads.

What is the pitch?

The pitch feature is a short phrase statement for the product and service advertisement based on origin. The pitch scrolls across the front page of the nestpitch website or App and helps the entrepreneur focus on what exactly makes their product or service valuable and what makes the consumer want to learn more about them and what they are selling. The seller posts how much they are willing to pay to partner with a marketer of their products or services enhancing the trading ecosystem that nestpitch promotes.

Is nestpitch free?

Posting on nestpitch is completely free. All transaction costs are applied in a transparent manner. nestpitch charges 1.8% service cost on all completed transactions through Stripe. Stripe charges its service fee separate from the nestpitch charge. Marketers selected by sellers will also be charged a service fee for transactions completed on nestpitch. The buyer may be charged additional delivery costs depending on the quotation of the seller.

How do I buy on nestpitch?

All users on nestpitch need to have an account with Stripe to complete transactions on nestpitch. Click on My Profile tab and scroll down to Create Seller to connect with Stripe. Alternatively, click on the Setup Stripe option and complete the form.

How do I sell on nestpitch?

After you have created your account with Stripe complete the form. Click the Sell button and typing in or selecting options that best describe your products and services and simply post your ad.

Can I cancel my order?

After completing the transaction through Stripe, the sale is binding, unless the sale is prohibited by law or by our User Agreement.

How are conflicts resolved?

We prioritize your concerns therefore, contact us through the various modes made available on the Contact us tab. Report inappropriate posts, selling and buying violations or any other violations and we will investigate it to bring issues to an amicable close.

How does nestpitch control the content of its listings?

As a seller, you are responsible for reviewing and understanding nestpitch’s selling policies stated in the User Agreement. If you do not follow the guidelines, you may be subject to a range of actions, including limits of your buying and selling privileges and suspension of your account.

How do I delete my account?

You may terminate your account by deactivating it or by submitting a termination request and discontinuing your use of the Services.
